Join Tuere Sala for a two-part online session of practice and discussion, hosted by Delaware Valley Insight. On Friday, November 15 from 7 to 9 p.m., we’ll explore all ten Paramis. On Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we will practice with three different ways of cultivating their wisdom.
The Paramis are the ten states of mind, attitude or behaviors that lead to peace. They do not exist in a vacuum. They are interrelated with each other. They have no boundary lines or strict definitions. They are fluid, flowing in and out of each other. We practice by keeping them lightly in balance in the back of our minds. The Paramis are a fundamental aspect of awakening and I can see no better Dhamma to be with in this particular year than the Paramis.
This program is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.
Dana (Generosity) will be well received and shared with Tuere to support her in offering this program.
NOTE: This is an online only event, offered via Zoom. While it’s not required you attend both , we do encourage you to sign up for both the Friday evening workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. AND the Saturday workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a separate registration for each part, i.e. for Friday and for Saturday.
