Join us for a Community Sit with DVI Steering Committee Member, Pamela Freeman, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. This will be a hybrid event, i.e. you can elect to attend either in-person, at the Summit Presbyterian Church, 6757 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19119, or online via Zoom. Pamela will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church.

Pamela will lead our community in a meditation, followed by sharing by members and light food and beverages. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice with other members of our DVI community, deepening connections in our sangha.

This program is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators — all are welcome.

Facilitator Bio

Pamela is a co-founder of Delaware Valley Insight. She is a graduate of the Community Dharma Leaders program and Dedicated Practitioners Program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Also, a former board member of Insight Meditation Society in Barre Mass  where she continues to  serve on IMS's diversity committee. As a board member of DVI , she is committed to  focusing  on community building, and bringing excellent meditation teachers to the Delaware Valley area so more local individuals can have access to Buddhist teachings
