Community Sit w/ Jesse Frechette

On Saturday, August 7 at 3 pm we’ll gather online via Zoom for sitting meditation practice led by Jesse Frechette.

Topic: Cultivating Compassionate Inner Allyship to Change our Relationship to Stress and Build Resiliency Against Microaggressions and Internalized Oppression

Teacher Bio: Jesse Frechette is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, mindfulness educator and anti-racism allyship coach. His pronouns are he/him and he identifies as a cis gender gay man of French Canadian-American descent. He received his Master of Social Work degree from University of Pennsylvania, and he is a graduate of Mindful Schools’ Yearlong Mindfulness Educator certification program. Jesse has a passion for mindfulness, social justice, and nature, including hiking and gardening. He has worked in mental health for the past 25 years and is currently in private practice as a psychotherapist and mindfulness coach. Jesse is passionate about sharing mindfulness and self-compassion to empower individuals to support themselves and each other against any form of oppression.
